Things to do on the GC

One of the things I love about living in the area of 4212 is the amount of great things you can do - going tothe Eagles Tribute night at theSanctuary Cove Village Theathre next week things that just are not available in many areas - its like being on hols all year round

what is happening here - its still freezing, windy - why oh why is the question, I had thought after last weekend that summer was well on its way

the weather here is not great today, very windy and overcast - so probably no boating today might do some kiting instead

Fantastic day today, the water was jump in - first time since last summer - clear and beatutiful.

Another perfect day for discovering and relaxing - the weather is perfect again today and its low tide now - so hopefully may even get some good fishing in throughout the day

WOW what a fantastic day - just went exploring, stopped and got out and found the back of Straddie, how beautiful - where else in the world would you find this much fantastic beach and not a sole to be seen.

Each week seems to just get better and we end up finding more and more wonderful places

We dont keep any, cant really be bothered, just enjoy catching and releasing - let someone else enjoy the fun

Back Ground

About 12 months ago we made the life style choice to move to the Gold Coast on a Canal block.  Would we like it, we didnt know. 

We decided to buy a bayliner bowrider to establish if we would use the boat, if we would enjoy it etc

Since then we have used it just about every weekend and love the whole life style, sure driving into Brissy every day gets a bit tiring, but at least when we get home it like we are holidays and weekends, holidays even in winter are beautiful.

With all the wonderful times we have had and the great views we see, I have decided to start a blog to share these things with others
